MD State course required to apply for the HQL. No pistol can be purchased within the state of Maryland without one of these licenses. We teach way above the state requirements ensuring you are adequately prepared to safely own a pistol.

Class Length - 4 hours

Range shooting - 1 hour

UPDATE: 07/05/2022 - The governer has now removed the ‘Good and substantial reason’ requirement for the CCW. All law abiding citizens may now apply for a permit with self defense as the only reason needed. BOOK SOON!! Classes are filling up very quickly.

This course is a requirement of the application process and does not guarantee an approved permit.

We start with the basics to ensure all students have not missed anything in their prior experience, then we move on to the realistic application and techniques of carrying a firearm. From legal matters (we are not lawyers, but will guide you to official resourses) to holster selection, we will give you all the knowledge needed to safely and legally carry within the State.

Class Length - 16 hours

Range - 4 hours

Students are encouraged to use the firearm they believe they will use for CCW application, but we will provide one if needed. Ammunition is NOT included.

Designed for those that don’t have a large background (or none at all) with pistols. Starting from the parts of a pistol and going all the way to marksmanship basics, we set up the students with a foundation of knowledge to build upon with a variety of handguns for the students to learn about and shoot from revolvers to semi-autos.

Class Length - 6 hours

Range Time - 1 hour

Included: Multiple pistol types to use, ammunition, ear and eye protection.

As with all our classes we start with firearms safety then this basic course is designed to give students introductory education on multiple firearm types;

Shotgun - Rifle (bolt-action and semi-auto - Pistols (revolver and semi-auto)

Best part is; students get to shoot each type! Pefect for all ages and geared toward safety, this is a great class for families.

Course Length - 4 hours

Range time - 1 hour

Includes: Up to 10 firearms for each student to shoot, ammunition, ear and eye protection.
